VT Engineering was called to site to diagnose and repair intermittent issues with over-heating oil temperatures on a helicopter engine test station. After comprehensive testing of all the various electrical components and signals from various controllers and PLC, VT engineering efficiently found the problem and had a replacement valve installed and functioning the following day.
A refurbished asphalt facility was moved and install along Highway 1 in Hope requiring a 1600Amp 600Y/347VAC 3PH/4W service. Scope included detailed electrical calculations, electrical room layout, site general arrangement drawings, and one-line details for all equipment throughout site. VT Engineering also assisted with upgrading the existing PLC/HMI control station with a new one.
Customer was looking to add exterior lighting for improved visibility and security. Scope included electrical review to ensure sufficient electrical capacity in existing equipment along with all lighting layout drawings and electrical schematics. VT Engineering was also responsible for hiring and overlooking electrical contractor on-site ensuring it was done correctly.
New 6,500 sq.ft Vinyl Record facility in North Vancouver underwent significant electrical upgrades. A new 400A overhead 600VAC service along with a new electrical room were required. Due to very strict city requirements, electrical room needed to be as small as possible. VT Engineering provided a very accurate and detailed design meeting the strict requirements.
