VT Engineering designed a comprehensive office and pilot kitchen facility which included both open and enclosed office spaces, a large commercial kitchen, and a pilot plant for this exciting company who is making and researching new ways to deliver plant based foods to the market. The kitchen and pilot plant were designed to offer a flexible work space by allowing equipment to be moved around and have allowances for the equipment to be connected at different locations as well as capacity for new equipment to be added in the future which added many complexities to the electrical design. The lighting control system was designed with Lutron’s wireless Vive controls and a Grafik Eye in the boardroom exceeding the ASHRAE 90.1 lighting requirements.
