Located on the busy corner of Commercial and Broadway, VT Engineering provided a detailed electrical design for a new Hon’s Wonton House restaurant. This project required a service upgrade to the unit to accommodate all the new electrical kitchen equipment and ASHRAE 90.1 lighting controls and mechanical controls. A detailed equipment list and electrical load calculation was performed to ensure the existing base building electrical system was capable of handling the additional loads. The fire alarm system required to be updated to connect to the new hood fire suppression system and gas natural gas shutoff device.
