A new Sunco Foods almond butter manufacturing facility is coming to Burnaby. The existing building underwent significant upgrades for the new facility. The electrical service was increased by adding a second BC Hydro 500kVA Pad-mount transformer (PMT) to provide a total of 1200A @ 347/600V-3PH-4W. The power distribution then supply’s a 93,500sqfT production warehouse and of office area. The production facility had several large power feeds provided for production equipment and the whole office and staff areas were completed redesigned with new power and data distribution, lighting, and lighting controls.
